A Neenah woman gets four years behind bars for stealing identities and filing false tax returns. Television station W-B-A-Y reports that 39-year-old Billie Jo Bottine was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Green Bay. Prosecutors say Bottine filed more than 70 false federal income tax returns in the names of 32 people between 2009 and 2014. Federal prosecutors say Bottine created fake W-2 forms and fake Schedule C forms to get fraudulent tax refunds totaling 340-thousand dollars. Bottine was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay 186-thousand dollars in restitution to the I-R-S.
