The two 14 year old boys that were arrested for bringing a gun to Wilson Junior High in Manitowoc last week entered pleas in juvenile court yesterday. The boys were caught with a .22 caliber revolver and ammunition in their backpacks last Tuesday, and both boys entered denial pleas on three charges, possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18, possessing a firearm in a school zone, and carrying a concealed weapon. The boys, who are being held at the Manitowoc Juvenile Detention Center, say they brought the gun to school for protection, because of threats they received. The next scheduled court date for the boys is this Thursday.
