A western Wisconsin elementary school will start holding classes year-round this summer.  Tomah’s Lemonweir Elementary School will change to a 45-days on, 15-days off schedule on July 18th.  The district will allow parents to move students out of the school if they prefer the traditional academic calendar.  Officials say the change will help students better retain what they learn and the school will not have to spend the first few weeks of the year reteaching the previous year’s lessons.
