The Milwaukee Brewers have ended their Cactus League exhibition schedule with an 8-6 loss to the Angels of Anaheim on Wednesday. Brewers’ starter Zach Davies gave up four runs in the first inning, and he then pitched three hitless frames. Left hander Tommy Milone gave up two homers in one inning, and his spring E-R-A of nine-point-six-nine doesn’t help as he fights for a spot in Milwaukee’s starting rotation. Travis Shaw homered and had three R-B-Is, and Jesus Aguilar belted his seventh homer of the spring as the Crew finished its Arizona slate at 15-16-and-1. The Brewers will now play a pair of exhibitions at Miller Park against the Chicago White Sox on Friday and Saturday, before opening their season Monday at home against Colorado.
