Wisconsin NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth takes ninth at the S-T-P 250 in Martinsville, Virginia on Sunday. It’s a highlight in what’s been an up and down season for the Cambridge native, who is now 22nd in the Monster Energy Series’ point standings. Paul Menard of Eau Claire placed 19th at Martinsville, and he’s 23rd in the standings for the year. Danica Patrick, born in Beloit and raised in nearby Roscoe, Illinois, finished 23rd Sunday. She’s now 29th in the point totals. Brad Keselowski won the event on the one half mile short track, and Kyle Larson is the season leader in NASCAR’s top series.
