The Manitowoc Lincoln baseball team got a solid pitching performance & some timely hitting..to defeat host Brillion….12-to-1, in a game that went 6-innings last night.  Coach Bruce Steinbecker says starting pitcher Chase Kersten had a no-hitter going until two outs in the fifth inning when the Lions got their 1st basehit.  Kersten finished with a one-hitter…with 7-strikeouts & 4-walks in 5-innings of work.  Brayden Broecker (broke’-er) led the Ships offense with 2-hits including a double & RBI….whileJackson Schmidt went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI’s for Lincoln, which is scheduled to host Green Bay Southwest today at 4:30.
