The demolition of the former Mirro building has been pushed back. The aged and asbestos infested building will have to wait to fall until mid-May instead of earlier this week as was planned. The asbestos abatement is taking longer than previously expected because fluctuating temperatures, and high winds have slowed the process. Halion Environmental Cleaning Corp. is the company responsible for the clean-up, and say they will begin to work most weekends to help expedite the process.
