Silver Lake College’s Board of Trustees has named Robert A. Fale as interim president—effective May 22nd. Earlier this year current president Dr Chris Domes accepted the presidency of Neumann College in Ashton Pennsylvania to in his words “be closer to family.” A news release states that Fale served as interim president and special adviser to the president of Marian College in Fond du Lac from June 2013 to June of 2016. Fale also has an extensive resume in health care administration serving as interim CEO for Memorial Medical Center in Neilsville Wisconsin. In 2012 he started Robert Fale Health Care Consulting LLC. He was president and ceo at Agnesian Health Care Inc. In Fond du Lac from 1996 to 2012—held several positions with Catholic Health Initiatives from 1981 to 1996 and was recently appointed to an advisory group of the higher learning commission—the nation’s largest regional accrediting agency whose mission is to find ways accreditors can assure quality without blocking new ideas. Fale states in the release “I am humbled to be asked to serve as interim president of Silver Lake College. There are several very important initiatives underway at the college and I understand the importance of working closely with the board of trustees—the faculty and the entire college community during this transitional period. Dr. Domes says “Bob Fale is a respected colleague I’ve known for a number of years. He will provide continuity and steady leadership as the college develops its SLC works program—grows its new nursing program and expands athlectics.” Domes will serve as president through June 30th allowing for a transitional period.
