Unless you’re talking about old cars or Jello, your average Wisconsinite couldn’t care less about the past. That’s according to a new survey by the real estate website Estately, which ranks the Badger State the second least nostalgic state ahead of only neighboring Minnesota. The survey checked out Facebook posts to gauge people’s interest in classic things — and it found that Wisconsin was among the five least interested states for antiques, vintage clothing, and music on vinyl records. Considering the state’s high obesity rate, it’s no surprise that Wisconsin had the 19th highest interest in the jiggly Jello desserts. And the state is ranked third worst in caring about classic cars, which is surprising when you consider that about 130-thousand people from all over the world attend the annual Iola Old Car Show in Waupaca County.
