One of the most recognizable voices in rock ‘n roll will be returning to the Capitol Civic Centre in Manitowoc on Friday, September 29. Dennis DeYoung, a founding member
of Styx, was the lead singer on seven of the band’s eight top ten hits. Tickets for Dennis DeYoung:  The Music of Styx, will go on sale Friday, May 19 at 9:00 a.m.
DeYoung and his six-piece band will showcase the biggest hits of Styx from the 70s, 80s, and 90s including Lady, Babe, Come Sail Away, Too Much Time On My Hands, Best Of Times, and Mr. Roboto. The show will also include the band’s classic rock anthems such as Renegade, Blue Collar Man, Suite Madame Blue, Rockin’ the Paradise, and others.
A founding member of Styx, DeYoung is a legendary singer, songwriter, keyboardist, composer and record producer with a career spanning more than 40 years. Along with his success with Styx, he has released seven solo albums over the years.
DeYoung will take the stage after a 7:30 p.m. opening set by Road Trip, a high energy rock band based out of Oshkosh, WI. DeYoung’s distinctive sound is a perfect match for the near-perfect acoustics of the Capitol Civic Centre. Built in 1921, the Capitol operated for years as a vaudeville theatre. It underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 1987 and another $1.2 million restoration in 2012. It features crystal chandeliers, luxury carpeting, and plush individual theatre seats in an ornate auditorium designed for live performances.

Reserved tickets for Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx range from $36 to $49, plus tax and a $2 facility fee.
