According to the Wisconsin Realtors Association, home sales have weekend across the state in April after a strong first quarter. In Manitowoc County, only 71 homes were sold last month, compared to 86 last year during the same month. That is a drop of 17.4%. Meanwhile the median price rose from $86,450 to $105,000, and increase of 21.5%. The year to date numbers follow a similar pattern, with a drop of 10.4% in the homes sold category, and a nearly 25% rise in median home prices. The WRA believes the reason is because of “lack of supply”.
