The Two Rivers City Council held a meeting on Monday, and one of the topics of discussion was the possibility of banning dogs from major downtown festivals. The council decided not to jump to a decision just yet, and to receive more input from the public. When the council meets again on June 26th, they will devote the first hour of the meeting to hearing from the public regarding animals in general being aloud on public properties, such as parks, beaches, and trails. If you wish to voice your opinion, the meeting will be held in the third floor Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:00 PM. Again that meeting will be taking place on June 26th.
