The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reporting that the number traffic deaths declined last month. Data shows that 45 people died in traffic accidents, making it the second safest May since the end of World War II. Taking the top spot in that category is May of 2013 with only 32 deaths. For the yearly total over the first five months, 203 died in traffic related accidents, including 27 pedestrians, and 13 motorcyclists. To make sure you do not add to that number, remember to drive safe, and always pay attention to what is going on around you.
