Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy says defensive tackle Kenny Clark appears to be the Packers’ most improved second year player for now. The Packers wrapped up their June minicamp Thursday, and McCarthy says the team’s top draft choice from last year looks “great.” Clark says he’s a lot more comfortable now — and he feels more explosive off the line, the more he learns Green Bay’s defensive schemes. He says the game has slowed down for him, and he’s getting a better look at what the offensive line is doing on the other side of the ball. Mike Daniels is still the captain of the Packers’ defensive line, and the team made it a priority to improve the line when it signed free agent veteran Ricky Jean Francois during the offseason.
