The U.S. Open at Erin Hills saw many hiccups throughout the weekend, starting with a blimp plummeting from the sky on day one, and the misfortune continued during the second round when a man died on the course. The 94 year old spectator was viewing the action in the grandstand by the sixth green, when he was reported to be “pulseless and non-breathing.” Rescue personnel transported the Wauwatosa man into an ambulance after performing CPR, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing, and there is no word yet as to what took the life of the man.
