For the second straight year, Road America at Elkhart Lake will host an Indy Car race this weekend. The Kohler Grand Prix is set for Sunday, and track spokesman John Ewert says it will be hard to top last year’s event — which had pent up demand following eight years without major Indy drivers. Will Power won last year’s Grand Prix as he won the pole and led for all but four of the 50 laps while Tony Kanaan finished second. The Kohler Grand Prix is the tenth of 17 events in the Verizon Indy Car Series, and it’s one of several events planned from Thursday through Sunday on the four mile road course at Road America. The Pirelli World Challenge will also be featured along with Indy Lights, the Global “M-X-Five” Cup, and the Pro Mazda event.
