Rescue teams in Green Bay were called to the Walnut Street Bridge at around 2:45 yesterday morning, to rescue a minivan that was wedged in the drawbridge. The man said that he had driven to far onto the bridge, when it began to open. The rescue crews cut a hole in the roof of the van, pulling the man to safety. The man did not sustain any injuries, and there was no structural damage to the bridge. The man did not have a valid driver’s license, and could be facing several charges.
