US Senior Open: Kelly Ties For 12th, Schuman 49th

Madison golfer Jerry Kelly ties for 12th at the U-S Senior Open. Kelly shot a 71 Sunday at the Salem Country Club in Peabody, Massachusetts to finish at minus three 277 for four rounds of the U-S-G-A major for players 50 and older. Former Wisconsin Badger men’s golf coach Jim Schuman of Madison tied for 49th, shooting a plus three 73 Sunday to finish at 286, six above par. Kenny Perry was the winner at minus 16.
