After pitching 86 games for Milwaukee over the past two seasons, pitcher Michael Blazek was sent down as the 2017 campaign opened. The Brewers wanted him to rediscover his command. At Triple-A Colorado Springs he was converted into a starting pitcher and responded with a 2.89 earned run average. Blazek’s back up, but he won’t be a starter in Milwaukee. He’ll work out of the bullpen, but he says the big thing for him is getting back to the big leagues.
