Traffic for the fireworks display in Two Rivers will be more of a problem than normal, warns City Manager Greg Buckley. Since Lincoln Avenue is being rebuilt this summer, it is not available for traffic and is detoured. Streets crossing Lincoln Ave from 25th to 29th Streets will be available for westbound traffic crossing Lincoln Ave, and 34th Street will also be available. To help ease the situation, the city is encouraging able bodied people to walk to and from the activities. Those parking on the east side anywhere south of 22nd Street are encouraged to leave via the 17th Street bridge. Drivers are being encouraged to show extra patience, courtesy, and caution, and realize they may get home a bit later than usual.
