Practice rounds for the Inaugural Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic have officially begun. A ceremonial blessing of the first tee by royalty of the Oneida Nation took place on Monday, with elected officials and golfers on hand. This event is the first time that the LPGA made its way to the Greater Green Bay area, and the first Wisconsin trip since 2012. Tournament Director Kelly McAnally (mc-Anna-lee) voiced her excitedment for the event, and stated that they have already heard positive feedback from the players. The first round will begin tomorrow.
