LPGA Tourney: Kim, Escallon Lead; Two State Players Compete

Sei Young Kim and Laura Gonzalez Escallon are the first round leaders at the inaugural L-P-G-A golf tournament near Green Bay. Both shot minus seven 65s Thursday at the Thornberry Creek L-P-G-A Classic in Hobart. Alyssa Ferrell of Edgerton is tied for 36th after shooting a 69, three below par. And Casey Danielson of Osceola shot a plus two 74 in her pro debut, tying her for 121st in the field of 144.
