Peace Officer Request Ends with Two in Jail

The Manitowoc Police were called to assist a local man with retrieving his property from a disgruntled former employee on the 1600 Block of Torrison Drive, which resulted with two people in jail late last week. While attempting to retrieve the property, the female was uncooperative, and began acting threateningly toward the officer. While trying to restrain the woman, her mother attempted to get her free by slamming a door on the officer’s arm. After requesting for backup, both women were taken into custody. The former employee has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting an Officer, Causing Injury. The mother was charged with Obstructing, and Resisting an Officer Causing Injury.
