The Wisconsin men’s basketball coaches are about to start auditioning high school players they might want to recruit during the next three years. The Badgers will have three evaluation periods this month, starting tomorrow (Wednesday) — and reports say their main goal for 2018 is to bring in Stevens Point Area High School forward Joey Hauser. He’ll start his senior year with the Panthers this fall, after leading them to the state Division One championship in all of his first three years. The 6-9 Hauser is playing with Iowa of the A-A-U this summer, after having 33 points and 22 rebounds for Stevens Point against Hartland Arrowhead in the Division One title game in March. He has reportedly narrowed his college choice to Wisconsin, Marquette, and Michigan State.
