Reconstruction of 10th Street in Manitowoc to Start Next Week

South 10^th Street in Manitowoc will be getting a makeover starting next week. The reconstruction will begin on Monday, and will span from Dewey Street to Viebahn Street.  Southbound Traffic will be detoured onto Dewey to South 14^th Street, across Viebahn and back onto 10^th Street. Northbound traffic will be detoured along the same route, only reversed. Construction on the intersection of Dewey and South 10^th will occur in September, but the intersection will remain open until then. Vinton Construction Company of Manitowoc is the prime contractor on the project which expected to be completed by the end of October.
