Thirty-two teams will square off this (Wednesday) evening in the regional finals of the state high school summer baseball tournament. There were 18 first round contests on Tuesday, while 14 teams had byes including two time returning champion Menomonee Falls and all four Number One seeds — New Holstein, Milwaukee Marquette, West Bend West, and Oak Creek. Schools are not broken up into divisions. The highest seeds to lose Tuesday were Number five Cudahy, which fell to 12th seeded West Allis Hale 8-6 — and fifth seeded Pewaukee, which was blanked by Number 12 Wauwatosa East 4-0.
