The Brewers will get some inspiration this weekend by stars from the past. Milwaukee will celebrate the 35th anniversary of its only appearance in the Fall Classic it hosts Philadelphia tonight (Friday), tomorrow (Saturday) night, and Sunday. Players from the 1982 Crew will be honored during an on field ceremony before Saturday’s contest — and fans will get a Paul Molitor jersey this (Friday) evening, autographs tomorrow (Saturday), and a replica of the Brewers’ league championship ring from ’82 on Sunday. Molitor won’t be there, because he’ll be managing the Minnesota Twins, as usual — but most of the other players from that year will attend.
