An 18 year old housekeeper was arrested in Sheboygan County for allegedly stealing an engagement ring from a guest’s room at the hotel in which she worked. The woman, Alexis Schaub of Cascade, was working at a hotel in Elkhart Lake back on July 10th, when the theft reportedly happened. The woman who the ring belonged to, told police that she left it in the hotel room, and when she returned, it was not there. Schaub was the only one to enter the room, using a master key so she could clean. While the ring was found in her pocket, Schaub denied any wrongdoing.
