The Wisconsin State Patrol will begin patrol I-41 around the clock. The surveillance will cover the stretch of highway from Green Bay to Milwaukee, which goes through Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago, and Fond du Lac counties. Prior to this change troopers were not on I-41 between 11 p.m. to 7 a.m, except for special enforcement projects or high-priority events. But the increased traffic on the interstate led the division of state patrol to bring more troopers on board. The State Patrol emphasizes that they are not out there to pull over an d arrest more people, they want to add a valuable safety recourse at all times.
