Three people are due back in court next Tuesday for the death of an elderly Milwaukee man who was tied up and beaten before his house was set on fire. Prosecutors say 24-year-old Ebone Spencer of Watertown suggested robbing 70-year-old Robert Piotrowski, since she got money from him in the past — and Spencer, 22-year-old Ladarious Boyce, and 24-year-old Quincy Qualls tied up Piotrowski, used a sheet to cover his head, repeatedly punched him, stole his car and credit card, and returned the next day to set his duplex on fire. The two men are from Milwaukee. Boyce is jailed with a 100-thousand dollar bond, and Spencer with a 75-thousand dollar bond — both on charges of felony murder, arson, and mutiliating a corpse. Qualls is charged with felony murder, with a 30-thousand dollar bond. The next step in all three cases is a preliminary hearing to determine if there’s enough evidence to put the three on trial.
