In the aftermath of the tragic accident at the Ohio State Fair involving the ride called the Fire Ball, the Wisconsin State Fair has decided to cut a ride from their list of attractions. Kristi Chuckel, the Communications Director for the Wisconsin State Fair, stated in a press release that while the Fire Ball was not scheduled to be an attraction at the fair, a similar ride called the Freak Out was. Out of respect for the families affected by the tragedy, as well as the pending investigation into why the accident occurred, the Freak Out was pulled from the list of attractions. No other rides were affected.
