Manitowoc Woman Arrested After Cursing and Spitting at Police

Manitowoc Police were called to the 600 block of St. Clair Street just after 6:00 PM on Sunday. When officers arrived, they could hear a commotion, and saw a man with a torn t-shirt and welts on his upper chest. Officer determined he had been assaulted prior to their arrival. Police asked a woman to exit the building, and when she did she called the man a “rapist drug dealer”. Officers asked the woman to relax, and she would not comply, causing the officers to place her into handcuffs. The woman began to yell obscenities at the officers. The woman then spat toward the officer. The woman is now facing charges of disorderly conduct, and felony discharge of bodily fluids at a safety officer.
