Wisconsin’s Number One left guard says he’s moving better after having ankle surgery last winter. Redshirt sophomore Jon Dietzen is one of the big success stories during the first week of the Badgers’ preseason camp. After practice Tuesday, Dietzen said his ankle has “more mobility” and he calls it “huge” that he can use his full ankle instead of having to come off his heel. Dietzen earned the starting spot at left guard when Micah Kapoi got hurt in last year’s season opener against L-S-U. But Dietzen injured his ankle the following week against Akron and missed four games while struggling through the final seven contests.
