The Friends of the Manitowoc River Watershed will be hosting an event on August 7 at 8:15 p.m., so people can experience being on the Manitowoc River under the full moon. The nighttime excursion will begin at the new boat launch at Lower Henry Schuette Park, past the playground by the river, in Manitowoc, and will end at the YMCA.
