One person has died and another was shot and wounded in what Oshkosh Police call a domestic incident. Officers were called to a northwest side home about 9:30 Wednesday morning to check out a report of an explosion — and they found the fatal victim and another person shot in the head. No names were immediately released, the cause of the death was not known, and both state and local officers are investigating. It was the second shooting incident in Oshkosh this week, and the fourth in the previous two weeks. Police Sergeant Todd Wrage urges people to be more vigilant and aware of their surroundings — and he said the “uptick” in gun violence could be related to a number of factors are not interconnected.
