Sheriff’s deputies in central Wisconsin say alcohol was apparently a factor in a weekend traffic crash that killed a Marshfield man. Twenty-one-year-old Tyler Manthe (man thee) died at a Marshfield hospital about seven and a half hours after the mishap early Saturday morning on Highway 13 south of Wisconsin Rapids. Wood County deputies say a 23-year-old Nekoosa woman drove her vehicle across the center line and hit the oncoming unit driven by Manthe. The woman was seriously hurt but her condition was not known as of Sunday.
