The Two Rivers City Council approved an engineering contract to develop final designs, and bid specifications at it’s meeting on Monday. The project at the wastewater treatment plant is budgeted at $3.6 million, and part of that is the engineering contract. Town and County Engineers of Madison will do the work, estimated to cost $230,500. Some improvements to the plant include replacement of the plant’s “headworks”, the addition of grit removal facilities, and an upgrade of the treatment plant supervisor control and data acquisition.
