The Green Bay Packers all time leading receiver and Packer Hall of Famer, Donald Driver, was in Manitowoc on Friday. He was visiting the Miracle League on the Lakeshore, whom he donated $25,000 to from The Donald Driver Foundation. The Miracle League is a baseball league for children age 4-19 with physical or cognitive disabilities, and they play on a specialized field. The stop was part of Driver’s “Thank You Fans” tour, the first of it’s kind for a professional athlete. Before he through out the first pitch, Driver addressed the crowd, saying “Before I retired, I said I wanted to be engrained in the State of Wisconsin, and I’m not going any time soon. So if the fans keep having me, I’ll keep coming around.”
