High School Football Tonight

High school football teams in the Fox River Classic Conference will get an ‘early’ start on other schools when they play their season openers tonight.  One of the FRCC matchups will be here in Manitowoc…where the Lincoln ships host the Depere Redbirds.  The lhs national honor society is holding a school supply drive at Ron Rubick municipal field..and ‘fans’ bringing those items will free admission to the ballgame.  The school supplies that are donated will be given to various schools in the Manitowoc Public School District to help students who can’t afford to buy them, or provide their own.  For a list of accepted donations, go to: seehafer news-dot-com.  WOMT will also be broadcasting the game…with coverage beginning at 6:45.  The other-‘4’ conference on opening night find: Bay Port at Sheboygan North, Notre Dame at Sheboygan ‘South’, Green Bay Southwest at Pulaski, and Green Bay ‘Preble’ visits Ashwaubenon.
