Representative Allan Supports Foxconn Legislation

State Representative Scott Allan of the 97^th Assembly District is the most recent representative to formally announce his approval of the Foxconn legislation. Rep. Allan released a statement saying, “Risk is inherent in business and much of the debate I heard revolved around the risk of investing $3 billion over the next 15 years.  Wisconsin is in the midst of experiencing an unprecedented demographics shift.  We are losing a significant portion of graduates to other states and nations.  This will likely have a transformational effect for Wisconsin from the introduction of new technology and advanced manufacturing processes.  The true risk would be in failing to act on this opportunity.” The State Assembly passed the legislation yesterday by a vote of 59-30.
