The Wisconsin men’s basketball team has lost for the first time on its five game foreign trip, falling to Melbourne United 90-89 on Sunday in Australia. Jerry Evans scored a three-pointer with two point four seconds left to put Melbourne ahead — and Evans blocked a shot from Wisconsin’s Brevin Pritzl in the closing seconds to seal Melbourne United’s victory. D’Mitrik Trice led the Badgers with 19 points, and freshman guard Kobe King added 18. Tai Wesley scored 23 to lead Melbourne. Wisconsin is now 3-1 on its trip to New Zealand and Australia, and will close out their trip tomorrow (Tuesday) against the Kings in Sydney.
