A 24 year old Manitowoc man was taken into custody on Thursday afternoon by Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit investigators, and was charged with various drug and child neglect related violations. Reacting to several tips, the investigators developed additional information that potential methamphetamine manufacturing and/or trafficking were taking place at the residence on the 1100 Block of South 11th Street. While conducting a search warrant, they found marijuana and meth paraphernalia, as well as some young children. The man was booked into the Manitowoc County Jail, on charges of Keeper of a drug House, Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Items, Child Neglect, and Possess Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, while the children were taken into child protective service.
