Girls High School Tennis
Manitowoc Lincoln placed3rd at the Wauwatosa Tournament over the weekend. Coach Jaque Verbauwhede tells us the SHips defeated Wauwatosa East in their first match 7-0. Then, they dropped a 4-3 decision to Muskego, and wrapped up their day with a 5-2 win over Fond du Lac. The Ships, now 5-2 on the season, will open conference play against Sheboygan North at Lincoln Park tomorrow afternoon.
The Roncalli tennis team competed at Carthage College in Kenosha on Saturday, where they were defeated by Racine St. Catherine 4-3 and fell to St. Joseph Academy 7-0.
Girls Volleyball
The Roncalli Jets volleyball team was involved in the Reedsville Tournament Saturday. They were defeated in 4 matches, falling to Chilton, Mishicot (in 3 sets), Kiel (in another 3 setter), and Two Rivers. Olivia Becker had 15 digs and 8 service aces. Olivia Ziegler totaled 20 kills and Kellyn Kiel turned in 32 assists.
