Manitowoc County Board Chairman Jim Brey has called a meeting for the Manitowoc County Land Conservation Committee where they will be discussing the county ordinance that prohibits feeding deer. Manitowoc County recently was removed from the deer baiting ban at the state level, and the committee will decide if they agree with the decision. The meeting will take place on Wednesday September 6th at 6:00 PM in Room 300 at the County Office Complex located at 4319 Expo Drive in Manitowoc. The split of support and opposition on repealing the ordinance is expected to be right around 50/50 according to Brey. The public will be allowed to speak during the Public Comment portion of the meeting.
