An Appleton man has died as a result of a place crash at Winnebago County G near State 76 yesterday morning. The plane slammed into a field at around 8:30 AM, prompting a response from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office and the Vinland Fire Department. Very little information about the pilot has been release, but we do know that he was a 68 year old man. The circumstances surrounding the crash have yet to be determined, but the Federal Aviation Administration is attempting to figure that out.
