The Madison fire chief says a body was found today (Friday) in the wreckage of a house that exploded two days ago. Steven Davis says the body was found around 9 A-M. Davis said it took a long time to find the victim because heavy debris had to be removed piece by piece. The causes of the blast and a resulting fire are still being investigated. Madison Police have been at the site since responding to the explosion. They’ve called the site a potential crime scene. Officials say they’ve had contact with one of the two owners of the exploded house, but have not been able to locate the second owner. The name of the victim was not immediately released..
