The reconstruction of the intersection of South 10th and Dewey Street started on Tuesday, September 19th. Vinton Construction Company of Manitowoc is the prime contractor for the project. During the construction, the intersection will be closed to traffic. There will be detour routes established for through traffic.
Eastbound traffic on Dewey St. will be detoured onto South 14th St.
Southbound traffic on South 10th Street will be detoured onto westbound Grand Ave. to South 14th St. and then continuing southbound on South 14th St. to Dewey St. or to Viebahn St. depending upon your destination.
Northbound traffic on South 10th Street will continue to be detoured onto westbound Viebahn Street to South 14th St. and then continuing northbound on South 14th St. to Dewey St. or to Grand Ave. depending upon your destination.
It is anticipated that the intersection work will be completed and reopened to traffic on or about October 18th.
