Traffic on I-43 for the Packer Game

With the Green Bay Packers hosting the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, the construction on I-43 raises some traffic concerns. Manitowoc County Highway Commissioner, Marc Holsen  told us the DOT’s plan to combat congestion. Today at noon the northbound lanes will be open, and southbound will open tomorrow morning. Northbound will close again tomorrow morning for repaving, but will be reopened in time to accommodate the Packer traffic. On Monday, both sides will close down for work operations. If Mother Nature cooperates, all paving should be done by Thursday.
