Employees at Target department stores will get a minimum wage of eleven dollars an hour next month, and 15 dollars by the end of 2020. The chain that’s based in Minneapolis has numerous stores throughout Wisconsin, and the firm says it wants to pay enough to attract and keep good workers. Target has 323-thousand employees, and the 100-thousand it’s hiring for the holidays will also get the eleven dollar minimum. Target says that wage is higher than the minimums in 48 states including Wisconsin, where it’s at the federal level of seven dollars and 25 cents an hour.
