Brawl in Appleton Hospitalizes Two

A fight in Appleton on Monday night landed two people in the hospital, and five behind bars. Appleton Police were called to the skirmish at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of East Edgemire Drive to find a 17 year old girl and a 49 year old man in need of medical assistance. The complex has reportedly been under an abatement order since May, and the owner has been working with police to lawfully remove tenants involved in the criminal activity. Five people were arrested on varying charges, and two were released. A plethora of weaponry was used during the brawl, including brass knuckles, baseball bats, crowbars and pepper spray.
